Hello dear listeners and welcome back to another episode of The ODDentity Podcast on the PodMoth Media Network, your bi-weekly foray into the weird, wonky, and sometimes downright spooky.
If you’ll permit me, I’d like to take a moment to thank you all for your messages of condolence and your unwavering support over the last few weeks. It was truly appreciated and made me realize even more how much my listeners and my podcast community mean to me.
This week, I present you with a Victorian ghost story. Part 1 of it, at least. It’s a little longer, so the next episode will feature the tale’s conclusion. Some of these stories are so wonderful and yet they don’t nearly get the readers and appreciation that they deserve. The Victorians were keen on ghost stories. We have that in common. So, settle in next to the fire, pull the blankets up to your chin, and try to ignore the shadows lingering at the edge of the firelight. I’m sure they’re all conjured by your imagination.

S8 Ep. 2: Travelers
Sunday Oct 03, 2021
Sunday Oct 03, 2021
As you all know by now, I receive a lot of listener submitted tales of the weird and paranormal. It’s getting to a point that I’m having to have one show per season that focuses on these stories alone as my email is ready to burst. This time around, I thought I’d pull out some submissions that focus on travel (short trips and longer ones) and hotels/motels. Traveling and staying in an unfamiliar place can be stressful and you never know what sort of things you might encounter.

S8 Ep. 1: Bellaire House Hauntings
Sunday Sep 19, 2021
Sunday Sep 19, 2021
Hello dear listeners and welcome back to season 8!
This week, I bring you a special episode about Bellaire House and the book Paranormal Confessions by Kristin Lee. The stories surrounding this property are many and some of them are truly disturbing. For the purposes of this episode, I won’t go into too much detail about the paranormal happenings, simply because the book was only released this year and if you want to know all the details, you should pick up a copy. It’s a great read especially since we’re heading into spooky season.
And now…on with the show!

S7 Ep. 6: INTERVIEW: Jonathan Johnson of WV Paranormal
Monday May 31, 2021
Monday May 31, 2021
Hello dear listeners and welcome back to the final episode of the season. You are listening to The ODDentity Podcast on the PodMoth MediaNetwork, your foray into the weird, wonky, and sometimes downright spooky. As is custom, this episode features an interview. Thisweek I welcome Jonathan Johnson of West Virginia Paranormal. West Virginia Paranormal Investigations was founded in 2007 by cousins Jonathan Johnson and Richard Riley as a way to further understand the world of ghosts, hauntings, and the paranormal. I had a great chatJonathan and his group have uncovered some pretty amazing stuff. We talk about the team's investigations of some famous (or rather infamous)haunted places along with a discussion of some lesser-known locations and Jonathan talks about how he got into paranormal investigationsin the first place. If you've ever wanted to know more about how paranormal investigations actually work, you're in for a treat.
A huge thank you to Jonathan and the crew at West Virginia Paranormal. Cheers to many more investigations and stay safe out there! That's it for this week and this season, dear listeners. The ODDentity Podcast will take its usual summer hiatus but will return in thefall with more tales of the creepy, weird, and paranormal.
Until then. Stay Spooky.

Wednesday May 26, 2021
Hello dear listeners and welcome back to another Off Week Weird, brought to you by The ODDentity Podcast on the PodMoth Media Network, your foray into the weird, wonky, and sometimes downright spooky. This week, I revisit the topic of immurement, another topic that was covered way back when I had a cohost and really deserves to be recorded in the new format. So, find a comfy arch and flatten yourself against the wall while I brick you in. Don’t worry. I’ll bring some pancakes to slide through the food slot a little later.
